To keep professionals up to speed with the major changes to Planning in NSW introduced by former Planning Minister the Hon Frank Sartor, NEERG ran a regulatory overhaul series in 2008 and 2009.
Then led by Frank Sartor's successor as Planning Minister, the Hon Kristina Keneally, the anticipated rollout of the planning reforms was delayed by the change of Minister. Inevitably, modifications have had to be made as new requirements are tested throughout the State.
NEERG Seminars are held at The Mint, 10 Macquarie Street, Sydney.
Director of NEERG Seminars, urban planner and architect, Michael Neustein, was the spokesperson for the Coalition for Planning Reform, a group of 15 professional and industry groups including the AIA and PIA. Strongly committed to continuing professional development, he is concerned that all professionals keep pace with new concepts and developments, including legislation. He is determined to provide excellent courses to achieve this goal.
