I found it to be most enlightening and refreshing and quite a change from being in a roomful of architects. Ray Rosen, d + r architects Applying the LEC Planning Principles to the Design and Assessment of Development in NSW “I rated the seminar as 10/10 because I thought it was well worth it. I can assure you that I am not generous with such commentary unless I think it is well deserved! The quality of speakers, the organisation of the event and the folder of information was first quality. In this case one day for less than $1800 for 3 people was far more cost effective than a 3 day conference both in time and money. I have nearly 20 staff to train and I will be sending more of them to future seminars because I know I will be getting excellent value for my limited training budget.” Shari Driver, Development Assessment Unit Co-ordinator, Building Approvals and Environment Protection Department, Penrith City Council “Thanks, it was fascinating and well worthwhile as usual.” Cr Rod McKelvey, Coffs Harbour City Council “This one was gold!” Cr Tony Hay, Baulkham Hills Shire Council "I decided to take along a town planner and architect whom we work with from time to time. I found the seminar to be very useful because it took a holistic approach to the planning guidelines. Both my guests and I found the seminar very informative." Paul Colagiuri, Senior Associate, Henry Davis York Lawyers " I want to thank you for the successful seminar on 22 March. You organised excellent speakers who prepared their papers very well. I have recommended to management that we send as many staff as possible to the next NEERG seminar." Selwyn Segall, Executive Planner, Ku-ring-gai Council "As a newly-elected Councillor, I attended NEERG’s Crash Course for Councillors in May 2004. As a result, I hit the road with a running start, obtaining knowledge which generally could be expected to take new councillors two terms in office to learn. I am certainly coming to the next seminar." Tony Hay, Councillor, Baulkham Hills Shire Council "Your seminar, “Putting Heritage in its Place”, was very informative, giving a much more balanced view of heritage in relation to development generally and building in particular. Speakers were of high calibre." Denise White, Architect, Charles Glanville (Architects) Pty Ltd |
